  Knew what I wanted however things where moved because of Christmas blow over. Was helped quickly after using help button. I needed help in 2 depts and both associates were very helpful.

  Went in there today with my son, who's a police officer, we got our items and went to the cashier, cashier asked my son if he is military, my son said no but I am a police officer. Cashier laughed and said he doesn't honor those. What an as....le. Lowe's has a sign on the door that states they honor the military. Why not the local first responder. I won't be back in there.

  Washing machine shipping bolts were thrown away. I bought a front-load washing machine (Samsung WF42H5200AF) from here a year ago and had the machine delivered to my apartment. Now I am moving and have realized that they threw away the bolts that lock down the drum. When I asked about this they said it is standard procedure to trash them, even though the user manual says to keep them! What would take two minutes of effort of taking them and taping them to the back of the machine will now cost me $60 to purchase new ones and have them shipped to me. I may not even receive them before my move and have to risk damaging the washer or stay past my lease. This is very much a policy that shows disregard for their customers. Well, I will pay off the little remaining on my Lowes Card and switch to another store. Otherwise, the store is generally ok in terms of having enough variety and most of their inventory available. Some sizes of sockets are always out of stock. Customer service varies and is usually good, but limited by what Lowe's policies allow them to do.
